Description

Seed is a starting parameter forrandom number generation and is used to calculate duration. If you have two tasks, and they have strong positive  correlations between their durations, you can make their seeds the same. For example: low duration of one task will coincide with low duration of another task. Seeds do not affect deterministic (current schedule) calculation.
